Mexico City, Mexico – December 20 2017 – Ecolab, the global leader in water, hygiene and energy technologies and services, was recognized for the fourth consecutive year with the Superbrands Certification Seal, now in its 10th edition. Additionally, the company received the Greenbrand special distinction for being one of the best brands in the area of sustainability.
Superbrands Mexico, considered the leading independent authority on brand ranking, along with the Mexican Council of Brands, awarded this distinction to 120 companies out of 1,000 that were evaluated in the Mexican market. To be included on the list, companies were evaluated on 17 sustainable development goals, which include addressing climate change by 2030, contributing to the eradication of poverty and fighting against inequality and injustice, among others.

For the past three years, Ecolab employees also have been working on reforestation efforts at the Cumbres de Monterrey National Park, helping restore the natural water cycle and protect watersheds.
